Fostering Resilience and Wellness in Youth

Description

Citing unprecedented and uniquely difficult challenges facing young people today, the U.S. Surgeon General issued a rare and clarion Advisory on youth mental health. The bottom line? It’s on all of us—whether we work in health care systems, schools, media companies, community organizations, government agencies—to “step up for our children and families.”

Join Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation thought leaders Sara Polley, MD, and Desirae Vasquez, MHS, MBA, to take a closer look at specific recommendations identified in the Surgeon General’s call for an “all-of-society effort.” Examine the implications across the continuum, from health promotion to risk prevention to early intervention to behavioral health treatment. You will gain clarity and momentum to further inform and inspire your efforts on behalf of young people.
