The resources below are designed to help municipalities and prevention coalitions that have received Partnerships for Success (PFS) grants meet their funding requirements. Grantees are encouraged to share these tools with their prevention partners.
- The guidance document provides and overview of the PFS grant, national and state data on the extent of the problem, and guidance for using SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based prescription drug misuse prevention strategies that are culturally appropriate and sustainable.
- The planning tool contains much of the same information as the guidance document but in an interactive format. Users can go directly to relevant areas of the guidance document, depending on where they are in the SPF process. Related tools, templates, and worksheets are also organized on a single page—easy to download and share at your next coalition meeting.
