The Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), a model developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), is a resource for municipalities, individuals, organizations, community coalitions, and other groups. It guides the selection, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, culturally appropriate, sustainable interventions to prevent and/or reduce alcohol misuse and abuse in Massachusetts. This online tool provides specific guidance for applying the SPF process to the prevention of alcohol misuse and abuse
